Jenevieve Discar (she/her/hers) joined the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center in July 2020. Prior to joining the APALRC, Ms. Discar was an associate at an international law firm, focusing on international disputes and complex litigation. She provided direct representation services to hundreds of clients of various ages, nationalities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Ms. Discar studied at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, specializing in international and comparative law, and completed her undergraduate degree in international studies at Baylor University. She has led projects and engaged in legal work in Lebanon, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Philippines. As a student, volunteer, and working professional, Ms. Discar has devoted herself to serving low-income communities both within the United States and abroad.
