Through the Crime Victims Assistance Partnership (CVAP) project, the APALRC seeks to educate and support victims of crime and their families. Services include educating the Asian American community about public safety and the criminal justice system, as well as the importance of reporting crimes and cooperating with law enforcement. We also help victims of crime apply for benefits from the Crime Victim Compensation Program, and advocate for fair access to government services. As with all APALRC programs, we provide these services in a range of Asian languages, and all services are free of charge.
